Founded in 2015, Bethel Hamliri, Inc. (BH) works to improve the life, health, social well being and economic status of the African and African-American Community by implementing programs for nutritional support, health education, assisting individuals and families in the New York area and in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Bethel Hamliri serves as a conduit to the Bronx Community, hence promoting importance in good nutrition, healthy lifestyles , disease prevention, resilient neighborhoods and strong communities. With our mission in mind, we invest in a variety of activities, including monthly fresh food box pick up and healthy living tips, Diabetes Prevention Program, Chronic disease self management, Bethel Hamliri's Annual Health and wellness Fairs, and Free Heartsaver/CPR/FIRST AID Training
